We have assisted home schooling families almost from the time our school was founded in 1988. Home schooling families have learned that the best way to provide students with a high quality education is to stay intimately involved with their children's education. Public schools proclaim the importance of "parent support" but you will find out quickly how little they want you involved if you try to get them to make changes in your child's program, especially as your children grow older.
In sharp contrast, we want and indeed expect parents to remain major figures in their children's education. But schooling your children at home is not an easy task; it requires both time and skill. Home schooling becomes increasingly difficult as children advance through the grades. At the high school level, it can be daunting.
To make home schooling easier for parents of high schoolers, we do the hard parts. This makes it possible for families who prefer home schooling to do so without having to plan and assess a challenging curriculum. The home schooling families that are enrolled with us may keep their home schooling status with the state and still take advantage of part or all of our curriculum, including the maintenance of a transcript. We urge you to contact us if you have any questions.
